Elbourne Surgery
About Us
History
Elbourne Surgery has been an established surgery for many years. However its management has seen many changes. It was originally a branch surgery of School Lane Surgery, Thetford. With difficulties recruiting doctors in 2001, School Lane decided to relinquish responsibility for this Branch Surgery. Suffolk West Primary Care Trust then took responsibility for the practice. In 2002 a doctor’s surgery in Sudbury Suffolk - Hardwicke House, took over management of the surgery. They ran the surgery for two years. However in 2004 they decided that it was no longer possible to manage the surgery from afar.
In November 2004, a new Partnership was formed and the surgery became BRANDON MEDICAL PRACTICE. There are four partners in the new partnership, who are committed to provide the best possible service to patients.
